Anthony Skinner

Anthony Skinner is a veteran consultant, team leader, and writer with an extensive track record in risk identification and mitigation. Over the past fifteen years, he has spearheaded projects in political risk, advising senior executives on the geopolitical, social, and reputational complexities of operating in the world’s most volatile jurisdictions. His expertise spans the upstream oil and gas, mining, FMCG, and financial services sectors.
A seasoned communicator, Anthony has a depth of experience presenting at executive-level events, including Africa Oil Week, the Abu Dhabi International Offset Conference, and the Marsh India Energy Conference. His insights are regularly sought by international media, and he has written for the Financial Times, Politico, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Petroleum Economist, and Oil & Gas Journal.
Anthony holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE) and an MA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Edinburgh. Beyond his professional practice, he is a guest speaker at the University of Bath and is committed to social impact, volunteering for Bath Welcomes Refugees. He served as a trustee for Media Matters for Women Sierra Leone.
